Cet ouvrage propose une r\u00e9flexion sur le lien essentiel entre r\u00e9daction, traduction et r\u00e9vision \u2013 lien singulier et exemplaire dans le contexte de l\u2019Union europ\u00e9enne \u2013 qui constitue incontestablement un \u00e9l\u00e9ment cl\u00e9 de la communication inh\u00e9rente \u00e0 la sph\u00e8re publique et politique europ\u00e9enne.<\/p>\n

La premi\u00e8re partie de ce volume pr\u00e9sente la politique linguistique et traductologique de l\u2019Union europ\u00e9enne et tout particuli\u00e8rement ce qui a trait \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9volution des instruments, m\u00e9thodes et proc\u00e9dures li\u00e9es \u00e0 la terminologie multilingue et \u00e0 la mise en \u0153uvre d\u2019actions cibl\u00e9es, comme la traduction pour la communication, visant \u00e0 assurer une meilleure compr\u00e9hension du langage normatif des documents publi\u00e9s et \u00e0 susciter un int\u00e9r\u00eat et un engagement plus marqu\u00e9s envers ses institutions.<\/p>\n

A partir de ce panorama initial, la deuxi\u00e8me partie est consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 la prise en compte de la traduction dans les textes destin\u00e9s \u00e0 \u00ab guider \u00bb la pratique quotidienne des r\u00e9dacteurs afin d\u2019assurer la continuit\u00e9 et la coh\u00e9rence entre le processus de r\u00e9daction et celui de traduction.<\/p>\n

La troisi\u00e8me partie propose l\u2019examen minutieux d\u2019extraits de traduction d\u2019un message normatif unique exprim\u00e9 en plusieurs langues selon une d\u00e9marche comparatiste qui rend compte, \u00e0 partir des r\u00e9sultats de la pratique traduisante, des strat\u00e9gies et des solutions adopt\u00e9es par chaque langue et susceptibles d\u2019\u00eatre transpos\u00e9es d\u2019une langue \u00e0 l\u2019autre. Dans cette perspective, les consid\u00e9rations exprim\u00e9es par les juristes sur la langue et la traduction du droit ont constitu\u00e9 une r\u00e9f\u00e9rence interdisciplinaire incontournable et un enrichissement pr\u00e9cieux \u00e0 cette r\u00e9flexion.<\/p>\n
